Gate 53 - Development - The Gate Of Beginnings 

Development as a structured progression that is both steadfast and enduring

Stretching towards the sacral gate 42 - the gate of growth, we have gate 53: the firestarter, the beginner, the initiator. There is pressure from the root to start something new; if you get stuck in the wrong thing, you can quickly become sad and depressed. 

I like to think of this gate as the flint that needs the oil to take over after the spark.

Let's get this out of the way: if you only have gate 53 and not the whole channel, you are more likely not to be a person who finishes things. Remember that there is nothing right or wrong, good or bad. It just is. You are just here to experience many new beginnings, whatever that looks like to you. 

Accept the part of you that is here to initiate new beginnings and that you need help if there is something to finish, the quicker you will be able to get in touch with your inner authority and use this energy on the correct beginnings—getting the right things started. 

There is something to be said about patience and the right timing. With the root, we have timing as the central theme; it's the pulsation of on / off. Spend time being patient with yourself to really lean into your inner authority. When you start something, there can still be potential to complete it, even while you are off beginning new things. Look for someone who has gate 42, or at least learn how to delegate. 

With the restless energy to get things started, you can find yourself starting new things all the time, jumping from one thing to the next, only to meet resistance, and that can lead to you stagnating in self-pity and or depression. And let's say you are a manifesting generator on top of that… All I can say is stop and listen to your inner authority. It's essential you use this energy for the right things.

Be mindful of the war of your mind's brilliant effort to explain why it's a good idea to start new things, to spark this new light - but there is no truth from the mind. And personally, I find when I listen to my authority, I'm sometimes surprised at what it leads me to. Wait for clarity; no matter your authority, you still are waiting for the pulsation of the root. 

The awareness of who you are designed to be will lead you to use this energy correctly.

You have the gift of helping others get started, and I remember my husband, who has this gate activated, once said, "I wish I could be a professional brainstormer, working with start-ups and helping them get started."

It's collective energy; you want to experience to share the wisdom you learned from whatever you started in the past. 

Allow yourself not to get carried away with all the new beginnings you can start, and use your strategy and authority, as always, to make the correct decision for you.
